Day Camps 2008

Camp Pocahontas
Monday – Friday, June 23 – 27; 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Ages: 6 – 10 years

Through activities and arts and crafts, campers will explore both the life and importance of Pocahontas and the culture of the Powhatan people. We will also compare and contrast their culture with that of the English, who settled here 400 years ago. 
Fee: $130/child

Re-enactors’ Camp
Wednesday – Friday, August 13 – 15, 2008; 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Ages: 11 – 16

Learn skills and techniques of early 17th century English colonial life; then re-enact colonial life as interpreters to the public. Colonial farming, militia, and household skills will be emphasized. 
Fee: $110/child
